Getting started

Four steps to your first game

Unbrewed is a free, open-source simulator for playing Unmatched fan decks online. It runs entirely in your browser — no account, no download. Import decks from Unmatched.cards, the-unmatched.club, or Tabletop Simulator, drop them onto any map from an image URL, and play head-to-head with a friend.

1

Design or find a deck

Use Unmatched.cards (by Jon G) to build your own deck — or grab one someone else has already made.

Browse decks on Unmatched.Cards
2

Load up your bag

Copy the deck code and add the deck(s) you want to play with into your bag.

Open your bag
3

Pick a map

Choose a custom map to battle on. Browse the community or bring your own — all you need is an image URL.

Frequently asked questions

Is Unbrewed free?

Yes. Unbrewed is completely free and open-source. There are no accounts, subscriptions, or paywalls — you play straight from your web browser.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Unbrewed requires no sign-up or login. Load your decks, share a lobby name with a friend, and start playing.

Can I play official Unmatched decks?

Unbrewed is built for homebrew and fan-made decks. It is an unofficial hobby project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Restoration Games, the publisher of Unmatched.

How do I import a deck from unmatched.cards?

Open your bag, paste the deck's unmatched.cards code or URL, and it loads instantly. You can also paste raw deck JSON, or a URL that downloads JSON.

Can I import decks from the-unmatched.club?

Yes. Unbrewed imports decks published on the-unmatched.club, including image-only decks, directly from their URL.

Does Unbrewed support Tabletop Simulator (TTS) decks?

Yes. You can import Unmatched decks exported from Tabletop Simulator, so collections you already built for TTS work in the browser.

How is this different from Tabletop Simulator?

Unbrewed runs entirely in your web browser with nothing to install and no cost. Both players just open a shared lobby — no game client, no Steam account, and no purchase required.

Can I use my own map?

Yes. Any image URL can become a battle map. Browse community maps on r/Unmatched or drop in your own.
